Sun Sand Slope Travel Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 1/1/2026

These Travel Terms & Conditions (“Travel Terms”) apply to certain trips, group travel experiences,
and hosted travel programs organized by Sun Sand Slope LLC (“Sun Sand Slope,” “SSS,”
“we,” “our,” or “us”).

By registering for, booking, or participating in any Sun Sand Slope organized trip, you (“Traveler,”
“you,” or “your”) agree to these Travel Terms.

These Travel Terms apply only to trips organized or hosted by Sun Sand Slope.
Travel arranged through third-party suppliers or travel advisors may be governed by separate supplier
or agency terms.

1. Role of Sun Sand Slope

Sun Sand Slope may act in one of two capacities depending on the travel service:

Travel Advisor

For certain bookings, Sun Sand Slope acts as a travel advisor arranging travel services with
independent third-party suppliers such as resorts, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, airlines,
or transportation providers.

In these cases:

  • the traveler contracts directly with the supplier
  • supplier terms and conditions apply
  • Sun Sand Slope is not the provider of the travel services

Trip Organizer

For certain trips marketed as Sun Sand Slope hosted trips, group trips, or organized travel
experiences, Sun Sand Slope acts as the trip organizer and may:

  • coordinate travel arrangements
  • collect traveler payments
  • contract with travel suppliers
  • organize group experiences and activities

These Travel Terms apply to those organized trips.

2. Booking and Reservations

Participation in a Sun Sand Slope organized trip requires completing the registration process and
submitting required payments.

Reservations are not considered confirmed until:

  • registration is completed, and
  • required deposit payments are received.

Sun Sand Slope reserves the right to decline or cancel a booking at its discretion.

3. Deposits and Payments

Trips organized by Sun Sand Slope may require a deposit at the time of booking.

Payment schedules may include:

  • deposit payment
  • interim installment payments
  • final payment prior to departure

Payment deadlines will be communicated for each trip.

Failure to make payments by the stated deadlines may result in cancellation of the reservation and
forfeiture of deposits.

Prices may be based on group minimums, exchange rates, and supplier pricing at the time of booking.

4. Cancellation by Traveler

Traveler cancellations must be submitted in writing.

Cancellation penalties may apply depending on the specific trip and supplier commitments.

Deposits may be non-refundable once supplier commitments have been made.

Cancellation policies for each trip will be communicated prior to booking and may include escalating
penalties closer to departure.

Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

5. Cancellation by Sun Sand Slope

Sun Sand Slope reserves the right to cancel or modify a trip for reasons including but not limited to:

  • insufficient participation
  • supplier cancellations
  • safety concerns
  • unforeseen circumstances

If Sun Sand Slope cancels a trip prior to departure, travelers will receive a refund of payments made
directly to Sun Sand Slope unless otherwise specified in trip terms.

Sun Sand Slope is not responsible for traveler expenses booked independently such as flights or insurance.

6. Changes to Itinerary

Travel itineraries are subject to change.

Sun Sand Slope or travel suppliers may make modifications due to:

  • operational requirements
  • weather conditions
  • safety concerns
  • supplier availability
  • government restrictions

Sun Sand Slope will make reasonable efforts to provide comparable alternatives when changes are necessary.

7. Minimum Participation

Certain trips require a minimum number of participants to operate.

If minimum participation is not reached, Sun Sand Slope may cancel the trip.

Travelers will receive a refund of payments made to Sun Sand Slope unless otherwise specified.

8. Travel Documentation

Travelers are responsible for ensuring they possess all necessary travel documentation, including:

  • valid passports
  • visas
  • vaccination records
  • entry documentation
  • health requirements

Sun Sand Slope is not responsible for denied boarding, entry restrictions, or travel disruptions due
to traveler documentation issues.

9. Traveler Conduct

Travelers are expected to behave in a respectful and responsible manner throughout the trip.

Sun Sand Slope reserves the right to remove any traveler whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, illegal,
or negatively impacts the experience of others.

Travelers removed from a trip for behavioral reasons will not be entitled to refunds.

10. Assumption of Risk

Travel involves inherent risks including but not limited to:

  • accidents
  • illness
  • injury
  • delays
  • transportation disruptions
  • environmental conditions

By participating in a Sun Sand Slope organized trip, travelers voluntarily assume these risks.

11. Third-Party Suppliers

Sun Sand Slope works with independent suppliers including but not limited to:

  • hotels
  • resorts
  • airlines
  • transportation companies
  • activity providers
  • tour operators

Sun Sand Slope does not own or control these suppliers and is not responsible for their acts,
omissions, or service failures.

12. Force Majeure

Sun Sand Slope shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by events beyond its
control including but not limited to:

  • natural disasters
  • severe weather
  • pandemics
  • government travel restrictions
  • labor strikes
  • transportation disruptions
  • political unrest

In such cases, Sun Sand Slope will make reasonable efforts to assist travelers but cannot guarantee
refunds or compensation.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sun Sand Slope shall not be liable for any indirect,
incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from participation in travel arranged through
Sun Sand Slope.

Travelers participate in travel activities at their own risk.

14. Governing Law

These Travel Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.

Any disputes arising from these Travel Terms shall be resolved in courts located within the State of
New Jersey.

15. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for or participating in a Sun Sand Slope organized trip, you acknowledge that you have
read, understood, and agree to these Travel Terms & Conditions.
